Services

Lord’s Day:

10 am Sunday Service – A Bible study for a deeper understanding of God’s Word, where one of the men speak on a biblical topic that takes a closer look at the Word to help us better understand what God is teaching us.

11 am Sunday Service – We incorporate a blended worship of mainly traditional hymns as well as biblically and theologically sound contemporary hymns. The pulpit ministry focuses on Christ and His Word with both expositional, as well as topical sermons. There is a time of refreshments and fellowship immediately following our worship.

Lord’s Supper – This special time of remembrance of the Lords suffering and atonement for sin is held frequently at the close of the 11am service. All believers who are walking in obedience to Christ and His Word are welcome to join us at the Lords Table.

Wednesday Night Prayer Meetings

Prayer meetings are Wednesday evenings at 7pm and include a Bible study followed by a session of prayer. We encourage you to join us as we lift our praises and request before the throne of grace in intercessory prayer. “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests by made known to God.” – Philippians 4:6.

Other Ministries

Nursing Home Ministries:

Twice monthly, Pastor Dale Nevelizer brings the Word of God to residents at the Tilbury Manor and Hudson Manor where all are welcomed to attend. The service includes the singing of hymns, a time of prayer followed by a sermon prepared by Pastor Dale from the Bible.

Bible Studies

Home Bible Studies take place once a month where members gather together for a time of fellowship around Gods Word.

Ladies Study takes place once a month on Monday at 6:30pm at the church which includes a study centred around the Bible. It is an opportunity for woman to grow in their faith as they fellowship together.

Children’s Sunday School: Held alternating Sundays at 10am, classes are held in the fellowship room. The lesson focuses on a biblical theme illustrated through scriptural reading, craft song and discussion. Children of all ages welcome!

Men’s Breakfast is held once a month on Saturday at 9am at the church which Includes a meal, fellowship and a Bible study. All are encouraged to come and take part in gathering together.

About the Pastor

Pastor Dale Nevelizer was born and raised in Rochester New York and is the current Pastor at Tilbury Baptist. In his earlier career, Dale graduated as an alumni of Toronto Baptist Seminary (TBS) in 1988, where he received a Bachelor of Theology Degree.

In the Fall of 1986, Pastor Dale went on to do a student pastorate at Grace Baptist Church of Elmville, Ontario and in the spring of 1988, he moved to New York where he pastored at Sovereign Grace Baptist from 1988-1999. It was then P. Dale felt a calling to move back to Canada and in 1999 he became the full time Pastor at Tilbury Regular Baptist Church. P. Dale has a loving wife, Cindy and a family of four children.
